Job Description:

Primary responsibility is to maintain up to date data on Salesforce.com wrt. to Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Opportunities, etc..  This person will also be responsible for interfacing with the local U.S. offices to determine data stewardship needs and priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Submitting requests for mass clean-up of Account and Contact addresses/phone numbers, etc. through cases to SFDC support team
  • Finding Contact records and Contact information (email, phone, address) through Jigsaw and other tools for top Accounts
  • Updating client/prospect status of Accounts
  • Flagging Opportunities with issues (e.g., no products, $0) for local administrators to correct
  • Cleaning up expired Leads, Opportunities, etc. as needed
  • Updating data that flows between marketing system (Eloqua) and sales system (Salesforce.com)
  • Interfacing with the US Sales and Marketing Ops field team to prioritize and respond to other data issues

This person will need to develop a thorough understanding usage of Salesforce.com and Eloqua and should be able to recommend improvements that will help data quality.

Skills Required:

  • Expertise in data cleansing and updating
  • Exposure to Salesforce.com or other popular CRM tools
  • Proficient in Excel (advanced usage), database concept, PowerPoint
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of the sales and marketing process, including measurement and reporting standards
  • Ability to work both independently and with global teams to achieve goals
  • Ability to “investigate” and QA the data points
  • “Can do” attitude, flexibility, ability to respond quickly and creatively to changing requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree and relevant work experience/transferable skills required
