Job Description:

Research consultant to research and report on prospect companies/ clients/ industry. This position is based in Bangalore. Primary responsibility is researching and producing reports using various external and internal data sources and report in the research template.

Responsibilities:

• Research, analyze and report on a particular company/ industry. This includes the following tasks:
o Research data sources including Hoovers, D&B, Bloomberg, OneSource, Factiva, Forrester, Gartner, etc.,
o Extraction of data from salesforce.com
o Analysis of data by business, industry, geography, products/services, client size, and other relevant business segmentations
o Creation of management reports in PowerPoint and Word that are “executive level” ready

• Creation of reports on:
o Prospect Research
o Client Research & Relationship Mapping
o Industry Research
o Other

Skills Required:

Exposure to US markets

• Familiarity with 3rd party data sources – Hoovers, Factiva, Onesource, Bloomberg, Advised, AM Best, Datastream, etc.,
• Familiarity with salesforce.com
• Expertise in research & analysis, both primary and secondary research
• Logical thinking
• Proficient in Excel, Access, PowerPoint, data manipulation and web publishing
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong understanding of sales & marketing processes
• Ability to “investigate” and build upon the data analysis.
